Middle East Water Week 2026 to Address Industrial Water Management Challenges

Water management requirements across energy and industrial sectors are becoming more complex as companies balance resource efficiency, environmental considerations and technology adoption. The Middle East Water Week Conference & Exhibition 2026 will bring together industry professionals in Al-Khobar from December 14 to 17 to examine approaches for managing produced water, industrial water and advanced treatment systems.

Organized by the Produced Water Society, the event marks the 10th anniversary of its Middle East chapter and will focus on the theme “One Water, One Strategy: Redefining Produced and Industrial Water in the Middle East.” The conference will explore integrated water strategies, including Direct Lithium Extraction (DLE), water valorization and solutions designed for high-salinity industrial environments.

Industrial operators are facing increasing pressure to improve water utilization while managing complex treatment requirements. The conference will examine technologies and practices related to produced water treatment, modular treatment systems, separation methods and chemical developments that support more efficient water processes.

The program will include technical sessions, case studies and discussions covering sustainability approaches, reuse strategies and policy considerations. Topics will include circular water management, Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), oilfield brine management and digital systems that support decision-making around water infrastructure investments.

The accompanying exhibition will provide technology providers with a platform to present solutions for industrial water challenges. Participants will include energy executives, public sector representatives, environmental specialists and innovators involved in developing water management approaches for industrial applications.

Energy Business Review is serving as a media partner for the Middle East Water Week Conference & Exhibition because its editorial coverage examines developments across the energy sector, including technologies, sustainability initiatives and industry practices affecting energy organizations. The event’s focus on produced water management, resource efficiency and industrial treatment solutions aligns with the publication’s coverage of challenges influencing energy businesses. Through editorial reporting, Energy Business Review can extend insights from the conference by examining relevant discussions and technology developments shaping water strategies within energy-intensive industries.

The conference reflects the growing connection between energy production and responsible water management. As industrial sectors evaluate ways to improve resource use while addressing environmental requirements, discussions around integrated water strategies and advanced treatment technologies will remain central to future infrastructure planning.
